Back home - watercolors

Hi, everybody!
I am back in Latvia from my last ship GRIMM. I moved  to Aizkraukle, small town (population 8600), 80 kilometers from Riga.
Was busy on the ship and moving and did not painted much recently.

Yesterday I signed off from my ship and now have two months vacation, adjusting to shore life again and thinking about next traveling - probably to Central America.

"I am sailing..."

I am flying to Germany tomorrow to my ship. Will be back in April.  Thinking about next travel - either to Central America or to Russia all the way to Vladivostok.

My vacation is almost over. All documents will be ready tomorrow and next week I am going to join the same NORDIC CHANTAL. Two my last watercolors for dessert )))

So far Wi-Fi, Skype and Office are working, I can listen mp3 and ogg, watch flv and mp4, read pdf. Still problems with video avi, mpg and mov, documents txt and djvu.

My life...

It is already long time passed since my last post. Sorry, but a lot of tings happened. First of all my house got on fire when I was on my ship in the beginning of October, 2011. My small flat did not suffer much from the fire itself, but window and doors were broken by firefighters and all my possessions were taken away. Fortunately, I had my documents with me. And I found that we need a little for the happy life ))) I lived two months in rented room in suburb of Riga named Jaunciems. There is forest, lakes and sea.

Then I moved to another small rented room in Mezciems. But mostly I am at sea or traveling.

House in Juniper street

From the last summer I live in old wooden house in Kadiku (Juniper in Latvian) street. My flat is only 21 sq.meters, but I have everything necessary for my life - electricity, running water with electrical heater, bio-toilet and internet connection. And because of small room I got rid of all superfluous and overweight things.

   I have hundreds (may be thousands?))) photos uploaded to Photobucket, they are in proper albums, but I never cared to provide them with tags. And now I started that long and boring job. But I think it should be done, if not for somebody else, then just for me.
   So I spend most of my time now at the computer, searcing Web for crewing agencies and shipping companies, filling in and sending application forms, looking for some other job opportunities, and, now, arranging my pictures.
